Kapuso actor Juancho Trivino had to briefly do away with his matinee idol looks to play the much reviled Padre Salvi in historical portal fantasy series 'Maria Clara at Ibarra.'
His character requires him to wear makeup to make him look sickly and prosthetics on his head to resemble the shaved heads of friars back then.
To make the prosthetic easier to wear, Juancho had to alter his hairstyle too. He now wears his hair with the sides shaved closely and the top cropped.
